Radine flung off the cloak and became visible. She appeared before them. They were paralized with surprise.
Josua was mute. He was determined she would not continue alone
on her journey to comply with her promise to the Ineffables.
Josua came closer.
Josua: My princess. I have never forgotten you. You are only true Love.
Josua and Radina boarded the Diamond Capsule to initiate the trip to Jupiter, Selene and Earth.
Prince Max and the Rescue Squad returned to Venturina. The Queen Cobra bid them farewell.
Zarime was sad, very sad.
The Diamond Capsule with Princess Radina and Josua arrived on Planet Jupiter. It poised gently amid fountains of water and a large globe of orange-colored energy.
The beings who lived there were beautiful giants serving their fellowmen with love. They received the travelers kindly.
Masters of Jupiter: Welcome brothers from Venturina. How can we be of assistance?
Radina: Greetings, beautiful beings. We are here to pay the ransom for 70 young men from Venturina, my brother, Prince Max and my fiance Commander Josua, who is accompanying me.
Masters of Jupiter: The Interspace Rescue Team trapped on Saturn?
Masters of Jupiter: Lovely Princess, We are honored to be the caretakers of the Rainbow. The test consists in
passing under it and resisting the energy discharge of 49 tons.
They took Josua and Radina to what seemed like the end of the biggest planet in the 00071 system.
There was the marvelous rainbow. Each color had a sound and scent of its own; it was akin to listening to sweet bells and smelling fragrant incense.
Radina walked under the rainbow.
She felt with all her feelings, loved with all her love, suffered with all the suffering and reached the peace of one who has paid all debts.
The Masters of Jupiter sent the Ineffables a proyection of the moment. Radina had passed the test! They sent her peace. After thanking the kind Masters of the largest planet in the system for their kindness, they mounted the Diamond Capsule and were skybound once again.
Princess Radina and her beloved Josua arrived on Selene, the earths satellite.
Safir, the guiding star, had informed them they would encounter the first voice of Lullaby here.
Sticky, dusty ground appeared. Craters. Exterior desolation. Windless, nothing moved. Josua whispered to Radina that maybe they had landed in the wrong place. Perhaps Safir had made a mistake.
Just then a robot of white light emerged from a nearby crater and approached the space capsule. His accordion arms ended in metallic pliers. His head was made of a transparent material and on his chest he carried a modular electronic box blinking with colored lights.
The robot proyected his voice to Radina and Josuas brain. He wanted them to follow him.
They entered the crater. As they advanced they observed an incredibly advanced civilization of robots, androides and sphere-shaped tiny space ships, in motion.
Movable bands took them to silver -like, long constructions and in the center of one tower, an astonishing monument; a pulsing mind and a beating heart.
It was almost unbelievable but this was the Master Mind and the Planetary Heart. After the usual greetings they inquired about the Voice of the Lullaby.
Heart: The Voice of the Lullaby prefers to dwell in the hearts and voices of human women, so when they sing and cradle their babies, their voices and feelings cover the whole of the earth and their sentiments reach us.
Brain: You will go to Earth. There you will seek Anali, the Fairy who wanted to love. She became human in order to experience the happiness of becoming a mother and being able to lullaby her baby.
Josua and Radina thanked the Heart and the Planetary Brain, bid farewell to their Robot guide, and started off on the last leg of their mission. Earth!
The Diamond Capsule with Radina and Josua penetrated the Earths atmosphere through the South Pole. They flew north, crossing the Equator, passing
Josua and Princess Radina left the ship to explore. At the foot of a mountain resembling a giant Hercules, was a cave. Circling above them in the sky, a white eagle.
Would they find the Drop of Love here?
This was the spot indicated by Safir.
Imagine Princess Radina has traveled the Universe to arrive in Tepoztlan.
A golden Amate tree with roots covering the stones, guarded the countryside. Radina and Josua entered the cave. They crawled through a tunnel in order to reach a scared chamber, the air was light, metallic, unbreathable.
The floor moved. A band transported them to the center of the mountain. Before them The Museum of the Earths Molecules. Spheres with tetrahedrons, triangles, circles. Lightening bolts whizzed above their heads. They saw a ceiling of stars and at the center, a sun.
Where have you been? Jotrar appeared before them.
Jotrar: Welcome space brothers. This is the world of physical -chemical -electrical elements with a thousand combinations and forms of life. I am Jotrar, King, of the Caverns. Guardian of the Solar Flame of Mother Earth.
Radina: We greet you Jotrar. I am Princess of Venturina and this is my fiance Josua, Commander of our Armed Forces.
We have come seeking the Drop of Love.
Jotrar: You have come to the right place. To possess it though, you must pass a series of tests -you and Josua both, as a couple.
You must deserve the Drop of Love.
Radina: We are ready, Master of the Caverns we also seek Anali, the fairy who wanted to love; according to the Masters of Selene she possesses the first Voice of the Lullaby.
Jotrar: Anali lives closeby in the Northern Woods. I shall send her a message to visit us. In the meantime please be my guests and share my kingdom.
Jotrar guided them to a bubble of humid air. They descended into the most advanced laboratory on the planet. Jotrar showed them the equalizers of plasmatic force in motion.
Jotrar: Nothing you will see is unknown to you. Plasma is the fourth state of materia on earth. It comes through the atmosphere as luminous dust, penetrating everything and gaining density as it descends. This energy seems like dust, liquid or gas and its iridescent. It moves absolutely everything: man, the winds, the
seas and the stars.
Josua: You are absolutely correct Jotrar; it is the same principal in the whole of the Universe.
In that moment Dorothea, daughter of mother Moon and companion of the king of the material world arrived.
Jotrar presented the space couple and realted how they had come to earth to pass the test to be deserving of the Drop of Love.
Dorothea welcomed them and explained how she had come to collect plants and small animals trapped within the ice in the North Pole. She had a ship that traveled the subterranean double snail in the earths interior and could emerge in the atmosphere through either of the two poles. They called the ship Caracol.
Radina inquired.
Radina: Tell us Dorothea, exactly what constitutes the love test for couples?
Dorothea: You will enter a chamber of light that will free you from all struggles to reach true love; time, jealousy, envy, separation, uncertainty, loneliness.
Jotrar: It is best you rest here tonight.
Dorothea will show you to your rooms. Jotrars cavern was cozy. Each room had baskets of fruit, fresh mountain water from the volcanos and white Casahuate flowers. Tomorrow they would face the grand test.
In the morning the shadow beings led Radina and Josua to a floating cabin. There they would be challenged by all the tests, all the faces, all emotions. To emerge as a loving couple, they must face death, tears, dreams, rebirth and dying again and again.
Difficult, very difficult. But not impossible.
They entered the cabin. They sat and waited. Time on earth is not the same as time in space. They looked deeply into each others eyes, hands enlaced, ready to face all challenges to prove their love.
At last, they reached their goal!
They brougth the Drop of love enclosed in the figure of a quartz frog. She would be the guardian. She would be responsible for it.
They rested for two more days. Dorothea took them to the spot from where the sacred water of Amatlan and the
On the third morning Anali arrived. She was dressed in a wide skirt bordered in flowers and braids twisted in colored ribbons.
Nobody imagined, not even her companion Jose, that she had been a fairy. She had renounced her magic world in the vegetable kingdom to enter the human kingdom to find love, heroism, obligation and suffering.
Princess Radina was enchanted to meet Anali.
Anali taught Radina how to communicate love and how to envelope small children with the music from the spheres. She demonstrated how from the heavens came the message and from a mothers heart, the armony. Anali sang Beautifully. Radina learned well. She remembered that the masters of Selene enjoyed the lullabys from earth.
It was time to leave Jotrar and Dorothea.
The diamond capsule was airbound, suddenly a shift of the polar axis caused by a heavenly body hurling dangerously close to earth, shook the seas, rivers, mountains, volcanos, valleys, and deserts.
The water, the air, the fire, closed off all exits to the Drop of Love!
Only a deserving few shall possess it and feel its powers.
The Drop of Love would not be permitted to leave.
The space ship from Venturina was hurled into the eternal snows on the cap of the South Pole by a strange wind.
There buried beneath the ice for years and years Radina and Josua remained in the Diamond Capsule.
They had traveled the Universe, surpassed all test, paid ransom for the young men from Venturina and Prince Max, only to end up lost in this cold, white world. The only good thing was that they were still on planet Earth.
Safir? She was helpless. Watching from the sky, wishing something would happen.
Last year a group of world investigators congregated at the South Poles meterological station and in spite of the cold and the wind
worked hard and progressed.
One morning;
Russian Scientist: What is that behind that ridge of ice?
Frenchman: A space capsule!
Englishman: This space ship seems to be made of diamond.
Englishman: They seem to be in a state of hibernation.
Russian: That ship will never open unless we pool our mental energy. We must try to conserve it.
The scientists closed their eyes tightly and jointly concentrated on opening Radinais space ship.
A back door slid open in the Venturina ship. Oxygen circulated anew. Princess Radina opened her eyes slowly, she felt she had stirred from a long, deep sleep. She spoke out but was not understood.
Russian Scientist: Tell me Comrade, what language is this?
French Scientist: Im not certain but it seems like a blend of all human languages.
The main problem was Josua. They couldnt arouse him and when he finally did open his eyes, he couldnt remember who he was, where he was or recognize Princess Radina.
Radina thought of Jotrar. With all her mind and heart she called out to him. Her only friends on Earth had to come to her aid. She tore the Drop of Love from her neck and placed it on Josuas forehead.
Immediately he recognized her, his princess, his Radina.
He removed them from the space ship and within seconds they were once again traveling through the center of earth towards Tepoztlan.
The scientists were amazed. The couple from the space capsule had disappeared. They drew lots to see who was the lucky country to keep the Venturina Space Ship. The
Safir, the friendly star, was content. They were safe! Now they must find their way back to Venturina.
When they reached Tepoztlan they talked to Dorothea:
Radina: Jotrar, my friend, we still dont understand all that has happened.
Jotrar: First of all princess you must understand that hundreds of years have gone by. It was all caused by a conjunction of the nearing of a heavenly body and the negativity generated by the fact that the Drop of Love was being taken away.
Radina: I have used the Drop of Love. I placed the quartz frog on Josuass forehead and he recovered his memory inmediately.
Dorothea: Now that you no longer have the Diamond Capsule, how will you return home? Venturina is so very far away.
Radina: You are perfectly right to worry, Dorothea. We left the Dimensional Mirror on Saturn to allow the safe return of the Rescue Squad and my twin brother. But we havent even considered how we can return home.
Jotrar: In the Sacred Valley of Tepoztlan there is a stone in the form a cube from which Quetzalcoatl ascended to the heavens converted into Venus. I will take you to the spot. From there you can depart.
The
Radina, before climbing, thought of Safir. She asked for guidance and courage. Climbing above an abyss with the sound of a thousand winds, she finally reached the cube shaped rock.
Opening her arms wide she was converted into a spinning dial of light with five fans, she screamed the name of her true love.
Radina: - Josshshshshuuuuaa!
Josua spun toward her rapidly converted into yet another spinwheel of ligth.
Radina whirled to the right. Josua whirled to the left.
United in heart they elevated, thus defying the pull of the earths gravity.
Safir, the star sent ligth and the fifth note of vibration. The sound enveloped Mother Earth.
The access tunnel to Uranus opened and our friends, converted into a mass of luminous energy, flew through.
Far away, far beyond our sight, they returned to Venturina.
Safir on high, scintillating, blinks her light on and off.
